Manly Hydraulics Laboratory (MHL) provides specialist services in the areas of water, sewer, stormwater, irrigation, coastal and environmental solutions including physical and numerical modelling investigations and delivery of extensive data collection programs. MHL is a business unit within the Government & Corporate Services Division of the Department of Finance, Services and Innovation. For more information click on Capabilities / Services or visit MHL Who Are We.

Office of Environment and Heritage Logo The majority of data presented online by MHL has been collected under the NSW Coastal Data Network Program managed by the Office of Environment and Heritage (OEH). For more information on coasts, estuaries and floods visit: environment.nsw.gov.au.

MHL and OEH work closely with other agencies, local government and communities across New South Wales to ensure the long-term protection, conservation and restoration of coastal, estuary and floodplain environments by reducing the risks posed by coastal hazards such as extreme tides, sea level rise and floods.

For current warnings and additional water data please visit the Bureau of Meteorology at: www.bom.gov.au.
